What is the difference between the two models?
The 2835-120D range offers a single-colour glow in 16 m and 25 m lengths. The 2835-48D range offers a six-colour running effect in 6 m, 16 m and 25 m. Check this listing’s options for the exact version you are ordering.
Does tapping the colour preview change my order?
No. The colour preview is for inspiration only. Select the actual model, colour and length in the product options above before adding to cart.
Can I install it myself without an electrician?
A complete ready-to-plug kit can be positioned and connected to a suitable existing socket as directed by its manual. Electrical alterations, cutting, joining and permanent or elevated installations should be handled by a qualified professional.
Is it waterproof? Can I leave it outside in the rain?
Outdoor suitability depends on the exact model’s labelled water-protection rating and installation requirements. The rope, power plug and controller may have different ratings. Keep all power connections protected. Do not submerge. Ask us to verify the selected version before an exposed outdoor installation.
Is it safe for children to touch or play with?
It is an electrical decoration, not a toy. Keep it, its cables and power connections out of children’s and pets’ reach. Do not allow pulling, chewing or play. Never handle powered connections with wet hands.
Can I cut, join or extend the rope?
Do not cut or join unless the exact product manual explicitly allows it. Cut intervals, connectors and maximum run lengths vary. Ask our team first; any approved modification needs correct sealing and qualified installation.
Are the plug, controller and clips included?
Check the package contents in this product’s description. Accessories may differ between models and kits. Message us before ordering if you need confirmation of the plug, running-effect controller, mounting clips or other fittings.
How much electricity will it use?
Use the rated wattage on your selected product’s label. Units of electricity (kWh) = total watts × hours used ÷ 1,000. Multiply by your local electricity rate to estimate cost. Do not assume the model number indicates wattage.
Does it work with a remote, app or dimmer?
Only if the selected listing explicitly includes that feature. A running colour effect does not automatically mean app control, a remote, adjustable speed or dimming. Use only compatible accessories specified for the product.
What does the 6-month warranty cover?
DesiTech provides a 6-month warranty for manufacturing defects from the invoice date, subject to the product’s warranty terms. Contact us on WhatsApp with your invoice, model and a short issue video. Damage from incorrect wiring, unauthorised cutting or water exposure beyond the rated protection is not a manufacturing defect.
How do I check delivery, payment and return options?
Enter your address at checkout to see available shipping and payment options. Delivery depends on your PIN code and stock. Review our shipping and return policies before ordering; WhatsApp us for a time-sensitive event. An enquiry does not confirm an order or reserve stock.
